The comprehensive renovation of the approximately 3,500 square metre section of Őrjárat Street between Adria and Neptun Streets in Budapest's 15th district has been completed, according to the contractor's website website. The investment project, aimed at modernising the road, pavement, car parks and green areas, was completed on 28 November.

The aim of the project was to completely renovate the outdated road section, which was built around fifty years ago, and to provide a safer, more orderly environment for local residents and those travelling through the area.

The experts at HE-DO carried out a complete renovation of the affected section of Őrjárat Street, from the hospital fence to the rear of the car parks.

The quality of the road has improved significantly.

During the works, temporary traffic control and tree protection systems were installed, followed by the renewal of the pavement, the updating of green areas, the complete resurfacing of the road and the reconstruction of the grass-paved car parks.

The kerbs were replaced, barrier-free pavement ends were created, utility fittings were levelled, and new street furniture – in this case bollards – was installed.

The project was implemented by the local government of Budapest's 15th district using its own resources. The investment has improved the quality of the road, which primarily benefits local residents, through traffic, and access to the ambulance station and specialist clinic, as well as facilitating the passage of buses.

The recently completed development fits in with the previously renovated section of Őrjárat Street, contributing to the uniform, orderly appearance of the neighbourhood and safer traffic conditions.
