Safer driving on the motorways: new digital signs for the MKIF

With the addition of 40 mobile variable message digital signs to its fleet of equipment, MKIF Magyar Koncessziós Infrastruktúra Fejlesztő Zrt., as these devices play a crucial role in improving traffic safety. As the company emphasises in its Facebook post announcing the purchase emphasises, the use of mobile digital signs is particularly useful during temporary traffic diversions.

 

 

They also point out that the new equipment is much easier to transport than the old ones: a flatbed truck can deliver not just 1 but 2 at a time to the desired location. The brightness of the digital signs adapts to the environment: traffic signs, which are already visible from a distance and therefore clear, can reduce the risk of accidents and help drivers to drive safely.

 

 

"Such a sign is not only information, but also warning, guidance, protection and information"

- says the MKIF in its post.

The new German signs meet the most modern requirements: they can be easily controlled remotely from a tablet and can store up to 100 signage images, which can be changed dynamically, they add.
