Viablokk porous concrete masonry element from a Hungarian factory, as a Hungarian product, is set to conquer the world

The Innoscitech Kft., which has extremely advantageous properties and is very competitively priced, is being launched on the construction market in Biharkeresztes inaugurated the first Hungarian-owned aerated concrete factory in May.

According to the report, the VIABLOKK family of masonry panels, which can be used for a wide range of applications, are sold at very competitive prices. The VIABLOKK products produced in the new plant will be sold by Viastein Kft., a member of the Bayer Construct group of companies, as the main strategic sales partner of the manufacturer Innoscitech Kft..

A Hungarian product made in Hungary enters the market

The VIABLOKK products made of aerated concrete enter the market as a Hungarian product manufactured in Hungary, offering a number of advantages over similar products. In terms of their function, the masonry units produced in the Biharkeresztes factory on the basis of the raw material recipe can be partition walls, dividing walls, frame filling elements and load-bearing walls, with the parameters (body density, compressive strength, thermal conductivity, etc.) varying accordingly.

At the same time, the production line installed in the Innoscitech Kft. plant will enable the production of bridging elements in addition to the masonry panels in question, and, for the first time in Hungary, wall panels.

How to meet green criteria

It also shows that aerated concrete is one of the best-known building materials in Europe and has long been popular for its light weight, good thermal and acoustic insulation, ease of processing and excellent resistance to mould and fire.

Pore concrete products are mainly made of natural materials - quartz sand, lime (cement) and water - in the Biharkeresztes plant, and their production does not produce pollutants. The composition and quality of the aerated concrete meets the requirements of the LEED green certification system and can be used for residential, commercial and industrial buildings.

VIABLOKK aerated concrete building material can be used to create a safe, healthy environment. The product combines all the properties expected from today's modern building materials, i.e:

• resistant to ultraviolet radiation,
• non-toxic,
• not combustible.

The VIABLOKK wall-plastic cell, manufactured using mineral materials, is environmentally friendly and largely recyclable.

Provides a balanced microclimate in winter and summer

The report also dispels a misconception: contrary to common perception, VIABLOKK cellular concrete building elements have excellent load-bearing capacity. The load-bearing capacity of a wall made of cellular concrete depends on the strength of the constituent materials and the way in which the load is applied. It is highly adaptable thanks to the careful optimisation of what can be described as opposing properties, such as structural strength and excellent thermal insulation properties:

• for the construction of load-bearing or infill masonry for buildings,
• as a quick and easy retrofit solution.

• It takes just a few minutes to build 1 square metre of wall.

Recommended for external walls of buildings, the 375 mm wide VIABLOKK D300 masonry panel meets the thermal and humidity requirements for masonry in one layer without additional insulation, can be plastered externally without further preparation and, indoors, only one layer of render is required, after which it can be painted immediately.

As the masonry does not require any additional layers, it can be built very quickly.

Contractors, traders and private buyers are among the potential buyers

The establishment of a porous concrete factory in Biharkeresztes will enable world-class production. At the same time, the manufacturer aims to provide its customers with a complete solution from design to masonry.

"Due to the location of the site in Eastern Hungary, we are counting on both domestic and export sales opportunities: our target markets are Hungary and Romania. We also identify construction contractors, building material traders and private buyers as potential customers," the report concludes.

Viastein also operates a paving stone factory, a paving stone refining plant, and a precast concrete element plant, which was handed over in January 2022, which has already broken into the domestic market with its products.
