Medical centre in Budapest agglomeration town renovated

The local government of Gyömrő completed an important development project in the last quarter of the year: the expansion and modernisation of the central medical clinic on Szent István út. The investment was realised with a fully non-repayable grant provided by the European Union and the Hungarian state under the TOP Plusz programme. The grant amounted to HUF 353 million, according to a statement from the town, which is part of the Budapest agglomeration. They explain:

The GP surgery at 55 Szent István út has been expanded with three consultation rooms, three washrooms for patients, two changing rooms, two staff washrooms, a doctors' break room and a cleaning room.

The project was completed on 30 October 2025 by Pharos ’95 Sportpályaépítő Kft.. The aim of the development was to provide simpler, faster care, more comfortable waiting times and a more modern environment for residents when using healthcare services.

The building is heated with heat pumps.

The new building provides city residents with medical care, assistance services and prescription services in a modern, spacious environment.
