The development of Bugyi’s new industrial park is entering the final stages: the project, carried out under contract number HE-DO, will provide businesses with fully serviced plots that are ready for immediate use.

An investment aimed at boosting the economy and creating jobs is being implemented in the town of Bugyi. On Sári Road, using TOP Plusz funds and commissioned by the local council, HE-DO is developing a new industrial estate.

An area tailored to the needs of businesses is being developed

The total area of the development site is 5.185 hectares, comprising 10 plots ranging in size from 2,538 to 4,014 m² available for lease. The area will also offer opportunities for building projects tailored to business needs – as stated in the information  The aim of the development, which is nearing completion, is to ensure that, once the project is finished, businesses moving in will be welcomed by an environment with full infrastructure on the municipally-owned plots.

The project also includes the expansion of the public lighting network

The industrial park is located outside the built-up area and can be accessed via the section of Road 5202 between Bugyi and Dabas-Sári. The M0 motorway, Budapest and the major logistics centres can be reached within half an hour.
As part of the project, an internal road network, drinking water and sewage systems, a 0.4 kV electricity network, telecommunications infrastructure and public lighting will be constructed within the industrial park – reported on the works on the contractor’s website. As part of the development, street lighting will also be installed along a 250-metre section of Road 5202 to ensure safe access.

A comprehensive development project is being implemented

Construction began in October 2025. During the first phase, surveying and topsoil removal were carried out, followed by the installation of utility networks. Of the project components, the sewerage system was completed first, followed by the laying of drinking water pipes.
This year, the project reached another milestone: the area’s telecommunications network was completed. Specialists installed N1-marked manholes and laid the fibre-optic cables. As part of the installation of the 0.4 kV electrical network, switch boxes were also installed.

Work has already begun on the internal road network

Work is currently underway on the construction of the industrial park’s internal road network. Contractors are laying kerbstones, constructing the sub-base layer and installing the cement-bound base course (CKT). According to the plans, the main part of the road construction will be completed by the end of March, including the laying of the asphalt layers, the construction of the kerbs, the finishing of the ditch profile, and the construction of the large-cobblestone and milled asphalt mud traps.

The site could open in mid-April

The final phase of construction will begin in April: this is when the street lighting columns will be installed, the landscaping work carried out, and the permanent traffic management features put in place. The project is expected to be completed and handed over on 14 April 2026.
The investment is of crucial importance for Bugyi’s future: with the development of the industrial park, the town will offer a competitive environment for businesses, which, by employing local labour, can contribute to the strengthening of the local economy. The development thus represents not only an infrastructural advance but also creates new opportunities for the community.
