Attila Kerékgyártó has been appointed chairman of the board of Duna Aszfalt
The Board of Directors of Duna Aszfalt Zrt. in 2026.
The board of directors of Duna Aszfalt Zrt. has decided on a new management structure with effect from 26 June 2026 – as revealed in the company’s press release. From this date, Attila Kerékgyártó will hold the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors, whilst the position of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer has been abolished.
As stated, the change supports the group’s long-term strategic objectives, its stable operation and its further development, whilst ensuring continuity in the operation and management of Duna Group.
„Our colleague Attila Kerékgyártó is a civil engineer and manager with more than twenty years” professional experience who, following his achievements in road administration during his career, has played a key role in the implementation of numerous major domestic infrastructure projects,” the statement reads.
In December 2024, our newspaper featured the Engineer of the Month, and last December as the Construction Creativity Award, and in 2022 upon receiving the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Merit of Hungary; the expert, who, in addition to the construction of the M85 tunnel in Sopron, had previously the complex Várpalota bypass project.
