New factory hall of German medical machinery manufacturer reaches its highest point in Debrecen

The investment of Harro Höfliger Hungary Kft. in Debrecen has reached a milestone: the new production hall has reached its highest point of 15.3 metres, announced Juhász Csaba Managing Director at the building's topping-out ceremony on Tuesday at the site

As can be seen in the photos taken at the event, the experts and machinery of Pallér Csarnok Kft. play an important role in the implementation. According to an earlier announcement, the German-backed company is building a new hall at a cost of six billion forints, with the state providing 1.5 billion forints in support.

Csaba Juhász also said in his speech:

The Debrecen production unit of Harro Höfliger in southern Germany, a manufacturer of mainly pharmaceutical and medical technology machinery, will triple its production area with the new hall and double its workforce in the coming years.

He added that their turnover of HUF 10 billion last year was almost 20 percent higher than a year earlier, and the increase in profit could be double-digit, which will expand their development opportunities.

Lajos Barcssa, Deputy Mayor of Debrecen responsible for economic development, expressed his conviction that the University of Debrecen and the local vocational training centre will continue to provide the factory with a well-prepared young workforce capable of holding down jobs with high added value.
