Two investment projects are set to begin in Tiszaderzs, aimed at developing the tourism and water infrastructure of the Lake Tisza region. The expansion of the harbour, the construction of a 92-metre footbridge and the modernisation of the campsite await the experts of the company commissioned to implement the project.

The development of the Kárász port and campsite in Tiszaderzs is being carried out with EU funding. After conducting the public procurement procedure was completed, Dola Generál Építő Kft. was commissioned to carry out the construction work. A 120 m² building with a partially open wooden structure will be constructed on the campsite to serve as an activity and community centre. In addition, the existing sanitary facilities will be renovated and expanded with accessible toilets, and a covered communal kitchen will also be built. The campsite will be made accessible by the construction of car parks, pavements, ramps and guide strips.

A footbridge will be built to the relaxation island

During the port development works, a total of 1,080 metres of shoreline will be redeveloped and protected, involving significant underwater dredging of nearly 14,000 cubic metres. The port entrance will be widened, the drinking water and sewage networks will be upgraded, and a 92.2-metre-long footbridge will be built to provide access to the leisure island.

Port capacities to be expanded

Along Lake Tisza, in Kubik, the contractor's task is to build a permanently installed floating structure suitable for mooring fishing boats. The development includes the installation of seven floating points for securing, storing and mooring boats, which will allow a total of 56 boats to be moored. In addition, mooring lines will be installed every 3 metres, providing mooring for a further 36 boats.
