The ambitious refurbishment of the Bogács spa continues with mechanical engineering works

We have reported on several occasions about the ongoing developments at the Bogácsi Spa and Lido. Following large-scale energy-related developments have been carried out; the spa is now a true leisure centre: recently, water castle featuring four slides has been built, a new thermal well has been drilled, and according to their latest public procurement results, the mechanical systems may also be upgraded.

Both the swimming pool and the twin pools are being upgraded

The winner of the Bogácsi Thermálfürdő Szolgáltató Kft. tender was Speciál-Híd Kft., meaning that its specialists will be able to carry out several minor improvements to the spa, with a total value of approximately 96 million forints. The tasks to be carried out include the

• work on the swimming pool plant room,
• installation of a swimming pool liner,
• work on the machine room following the construction of the twin-basin structure,
• work on the twin swimming pools,
• public utility drainage works
• public utility electrical installations

are awaiting implementation.

Once the electrical work on the machine rooms has been completed, Speciál-Híd’s staff will be tasked with cleaning the entire site, backfilling any excavated areas as required, removing surplus materials, restoring green spaces, dismantling temporary structures and restoring the surface finishes.
