New cycle path completed in Jászság
The construction of a cycle path and a cycle rest area has been completed in Jászfényszaru, and the local council recently held an event to mark the completion of the project. As reported on their Facebook page As detailed, they were awarded a non-repayable grant of 350.5 million forints from the TOP Plusz fund.
The news just released came from an event held in connection with the development of the „Jászfényszaru 3106-3126 cycle path between roads, Csörsz vezér cycle path (phase I) and construction of a cycle rest park”. This project included, among other things
- construction of a new cycle path along the Zagyva embankment, 1,400.54 m long,
- as well as the construction of the Csörsz vezér cycle path, 582 metres long.
In addition, the bicycle rest park developed as part of the investment project offers opportunities for rest, relaxation and servicing alongside the existing pump track: covered tables and smart benches have been installed; the park has been equipped with selective waste collection bins, an information board and bicycle racks; in addition, 15 trees have been planted to provide natural shade.
The cycle rest park, with its cycle track, cycle path and renovated playground, has become a fully-fledged cycling recreation area.
