As part of the Hungarian Village Programme, the road leading to Nagybajcs was handed over in Vámosszabad. Within the development framework, a total of 331 million forints was spent this year on renovating approximately four kilometres of road in the region.

The technical handover of the renovated section of the road connecting Vámosszabadi in Győr-Moson-Sopron County with the neighbouring village of Nagybajcs took place as part of the Hungarian Village Programme. On this occasion, István Nagy, Minister of Agriculture and Member of Parliament for the region, gave a speech at a ceremony.

The newly renovated section of road is located in the northern part of the map.

He reported that three minor road sections had been renovated this year in Szigetköz, as part of the Magyar Közút project:

  • the road connecting Halászi – Dunasziget – Dunakiliti, marked 1407, between sections 9+684 and 10+332, at 648 metres;
  • as well as the newly inaugurated road connecting Vámosszabadi and Nagybajcs, marked 1302, between sections 0+000 and 1+724 km, thus covering a distance of 1724 metres.
