Comprehensive road improvements could start in Ivanča

The Építési és Közlekedési Minisztérium was published in the EU Public Procurement Bulletin.

The tender consists of two parts: the first one covers the road infrastructure development phase II of the industrial area, while the second one concerns the road improvements in the inner area of Ivanča. Directly related to the industrial area, 9.5 kilometres of road will be constructed, while 10.4 kilometres of road will be upgraded in the inner part of Iváncsa, including the development of cycle paths.

As we we wrote earlier, the project is part of a programme aimed at supporting the development of rural industrial infrastructure. The industrial park's rail connections of the industrial park, with UTIBER Kft. and FER-MAN Kft. performing the engineering tasks related to its design and implementation.

In the course of work related to the industrial site

• A new two-lane turbo roundabout will replace the existing roundabout at the Adony North (junction 50) of the M6 motorway;
• From the new turbo roundabout, a new link road to the industrial area of Iváncsa (6210) will be constructed with a new 2×2 lane alignment for 0.66 km, followed by a new 2×1 lane alignment for 5.34 km, reaching the existing road 6205;
• On road 6210, 1 new two-lane turbo and 2 new one-lane roundabouts will be constructed;
• A new 2×2 lane access road 62110 will be constructed for 0.145 km and a 2×1 lane access road for 0.235 km;
• on the Ipartelepi road, a new 2×1 lane road will be built for 1.615 km and one new single-lane roundabout junction will be built;
• In addition, a new 2×1 lane road will be built on Ipartelepi road for 1.46 kilometres, with a total of 0.35 kilometres of intermittent waiting lanes.

In addition, 2.6 kilometres of bicycle and pedestrian links with street lighting will be built along the Iváncsa internal area, 1.4 kilometres of connecting dirt roads will be constructed and a total of 2.5 kilometres of street lighting will be installed.

In tasks concerning the interior

• the inland section of the national road 6205 will be upgraded for a continuous length of 6 km;
• 4.4 kilometres of inland streets will be upgraded;
• 8 pairs of bus shelters will be created;
• 7.5 kilometres of pedestrian walkways will be constructed or renovated;
• 2.75 kilometres of independent cycle paths will be created;
• 1.5 kilometres of street lighting will be installed;
• and 1 km of cycle paths will be lit.
