Road improvements worth more than 300 million forints have been completed in South Békés.

An important infrastructure development project has been completed in South Békés: a total of ten inner-city road sections have been upgraded in two municipalities.

In Csanádapáca, with a population of 2,300, road repairs were carried out on six streets at a cost of 247 million forints. Three streets had asphalt surfaces, but these were in a very poor condition; two are classified as collector roads. One street was a dirt road.

– announced the municipality.

The two settlements are located east of Komló.

In Végegyháza, with a population of just over a thousand, four road sections were renovated at a cost of 80 million forints. Both projects were carried out with funding from the EU's Territorial and Settlement Development Operational Programme (TOP) Plus, according to information provided by the local authorities.
