The airport hotel TRIBE has won two design awards

The TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel has achieved outstanding professional success: in the development of WING and the construction of SWIETELSKY Magyarország Kft. won awards in two categories at the Klasszis TopDesign 2025 competition on 25 November. The award, organised by the editorial staff of Turizmus Online, is the most comprehensive, wide-ranging competition in the domestic hospitality industry, featuring a prestigious international jury, according to a statement sent to our newspaper.

At the gala, the hotel developer WING received the awards for „Bar/Pub, Café and Confectionery of the Year” (TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel – Skybar) and „Restrooms of the Year”. The professional jury praised the hotel's outstanding architectural and interior design solutions, complex design philosophy and high-quality guest experience.

The hotel was designed by Aspectus Architect, the interior design concept was created by este'r partners, and operations are jointly managed by WING and Accor.

Airport hotel wins design awards

The TRIBE Budapest Airport Hotel was realised in cooperation with the WING and Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport, directly next to Terminal 2, connected to the existing ibis Styles hotel.

The 167-room, four-star superior hotel is the 21st TRIBE hotel worldwide and the newest airport property in the brand's international portfolio. The hotel, which was handed over hotel is the second TRIBE hotel in Budapest, following TRIBE Budapest Stadium, which is also developed by WING and located in a mixed-use building developed by Liberty.

Contemporary design and sustainability principles are also evident in the building and its interior spaces, as confirmed by the BREEAM rating and Access4you certificate.
