The AKKO Invest may be expanded to include a designer of airport hotels

AKKO Invest Nyrt. has agreed to acquire Aspectus Architect Zrt., according to the company’s announcement. WINGSERVE Kft., which is owned by WING Csoport, the current owner of the general design firm, has accepted the binding takeover bid from AKKO. The transaction is expected to be finalised in 2026.
Founded in 1999, Aspectus specialises in architectural and interior design: it oversees projects from the development of the concept through to the preparation of the implementation documentation, coordinating all specialist design tasks. Its portfolio includes the Liszt Ferenc International Airport’s ibis and TRIBE hotels, the Ericsson and evosoft headquarters on the banks of the Danube, the Római Park and Kassák Terrace residential estates, the Kisvárda stadium, and the East Gate PRO industrial and logistics park.

They are establishing an integrated property services group

The aim of AKKO Invest’s renewed strategy this year is to become one of Hungary’s leading integrated property services groups, building on the financial strength of Wallis Csoport, the professional expertise of WING Csoport and the stable market position of NEO Property Services. According to their announcement, the company plans to achieve group-level turnover in excess of 100 billion forints within five years and to strengthen its profitability. The focus of this expansion is on strengthening its capabilities in master planning, BIM-based project preparation, engineering management, general contracting, energy and innovative technology services, through organic growth and targeted acquisitions.

A closer link between design and construction

Aspectus has an extensive track record across almost every property sector. The design practice has already worked on several projects in which AKKO’s subsidiary, NEO Property Services, and its general contracting division, NEO Construct, were involved as contractors. The closer cooperation resulting from the acquisition may facilitate the preparation of projects and the coordination of design tasks, thereby paving the way for NEO Construct to take on more complex main contractor assignments.
The design office, which currently employs 21 people, achieved a turnover of nearly 600 million forints in 2025. The acquisition is intended to expand the AKKO property services group: the company would strengthen its capabilities across the entire spectrum, from general design and BIM-based project preparation through to construction and energy services.
