Not just an exhibition, but a practical professional gathering

For tradespeople, the value of a new technology or tool becomes apparent primarily when it is seen in action. The event, to be held on 16–17 October at the BOK Csarnok in Budapest (formerly Syma-csarnok – Ed.), HOMEINFO Építőipari, Faipari és Kertépítő Mester Workshow 2026 which is why it places greater emphasis on gaining practical experience than a traditional exhibition – as emphasised in the press release sent to our newspaper, reference HOMEINFO.  

This enables visitors to see the latest machinery, tools, building materials and construction solutions in action, ask questions directly of experts from manufacturers and distributors, and gain information that can be put to practical use in their day-to-day work.

They add that the event also serves as an important networking opportunity: it provides a chance to meet new suppliers, partners and make professional contacts.

Spanning 16,000 square metres across three halls

Following the success of the 2025 event, Workshow will expand further in 2026. More than 150 exhibitors and over 150 well-known brands will be showcasing their products across the three halls of BOK Csarnok, covering a total area of 16,000 square metres.

From building materials and tools, through machinery, cladding and joinery solutions, to furniture-making, woodworking and landscaping technologies, a wide range of sectors relevant to contractors’ day-to-day work are represented.

The exhibition is complemented by more than 50 specialist presentations, which provide visitors with up-to-date market and technological insights, as well as practical experience.

A new entry in the Workshow: the landscaping profession

One of the key new features of this year’s event is that landscaping will also form an integral part of the Workshow.

The building and its surroundings are becoming increasingly intertwined. In many projects, outdoor surfacing, paving stones, fences, pergolas and other landscaping features form just as much a part of the construction as the building itself.

Thanks to this expansion, garden designers, landscape architects, contractors working on outdoor projects and other professionals in the construction industry will be able to discover new products, technologies and market players.

Who should visit?

The Workshow is primarily aimed at those working in the field:

General contractors, bricklayers, tilers, carpenters, roofers, painters, drywall installers, specialists in mechanical engineering, specialist trades and landscaping, as well as joiners and cabinetmakers.

At the same time, it may also be useful for traders, designers, educators and students on vocational training courses, particularly those looking for new tools, technologies or suppliers.

Two days exploring the present and future of the profession

The HOMEINFO Construction, Woodworking and Landscaping Master’s course (Workshow) will welcome professionals on 16–17 October 2026 at BOK Csarnok (1 Dózsa György út, Budapest 1146).
