New crèche to be built in a complex development outside Kecskemét

A new two-group nursery is being established in Kecskemét-Kadafalva, constructed by Portula Kft.. According to our information, the facility will be built in the centre of Kadafalva, next to the local school building.

The Kecskemét municipality started the project in February and the project is expected to be completed in November. The pace of works is particularly good, which is important because the nursery will be ready for use in December. The development will create a well-organised, easily accessible crèche, which will also include a warming kitchen.

An asphalted small motorbike track will also be built

The detailed description of the building also shows that the nursery will consist of two tile-roofed high roofs, with a flat roof between them. The building will be heated and cooled by air-to-water heat pumps and fan-coil units, and a solar panel system will be installed.

The building will also include a front garden with bicycle storage and an accessible car park, a service yard with car parking and a playground. The courtyard playground will be equipped with an asphalted small motorbike track, play equipment, a sandpit with a sheltered area for the children and a sun sail. The green area will be almost 50 percent instead of the minimum 10 percent.

Tight building sites pose organisational challenges

"Given the organisational challenges of a relatively narrow building site on a busy road, a complex building and its immediate surroundings have to be designed," the report concludes.
