All three residential buildings, which are being constructed in parallel, have reached the structural completion stage.

The Dürer Park residential development is a key component of the project’s overall construction. The project has now reached another milestone, as all three residential buildings, which are being constructed in parallel, have reached the structural completion stage – the contractor reported the news Market Építő Zrt. website.

This significant moment was marked by a traditional topping-out ceremony, during which the wreath, decorated with ribbons, was placed on the highest point of one of the buildings.

The three buildings were constructed in a coordinated manner, with a time lag of roughly one month between them, and all three are now structurally complete.

This marks a significant milestone in the project’s lifecycle, as it has now entered the next, more visible phase of construction.

The net usable floor area of the buildings exceeds 33,500 m²

The technical scope clearly illustrates the scale and complexity of the project. The piling works for the three buildings total 11,922 linear metres, comprising 917 piles and over 101,000 tonnes of reinforcing steel. During the construction of the monolithic structure, 21,903 m³ of concrete and 3,181 tonnes of reinforcing steel were used.

One of the distinctive features of the Dürer Park residential development is the cantilevered balcony that runs around the perimeter of every floor; during the structural works, nearly 3,600 linear metres of thermal break elements were incorporated into the structure.

The total floor area of the flats exceeds 25,000 m², whilst the net usable floor area of the buildings is over 33,500 m². To date, 1,410 workers have been involved in the construction, clocking up nearly 403,800 working hours.

At the ceremony, Márton Bajcsay, Technical Director of Market Építő Zrt., Márton Horváth, Technical Director of Moratus Szerkezetépítő Kft., and Sándor Makra, Managing Director of Market Asset Management Zrt., shared their thoughts. In their speeches, they emphasised the significance of the project, as well as the cooperation and professional commitment that have characterised the construction work to date.

After the topping-out ceremony, the participants took a tour to view the current progress of the construction work, and then celebrated their joint achievements over an informal lunch.

Private park and green roofs

The Dürer Park project goes beyond a traditional property development. The aim is to create a neighbourhood where green spaces, communal areas and modern technological solutions work in synergy to enhance the quality of life for both residents and the wider neighbourhood. The concept is based on the idea that

The experience of home doesn’t begin at the front door, but as you walk through the surrounding promenades, parks and communal spaces.

The proximity of the City Park ensures that nature is an integral part of everyday life. The nearly 11,000 m² of private parkland, the preserved and replanted vegetation, and the green roofs all contribute to a balanced, nature-oriented lifestyle.

The homes in the Dürer Park residential development cater to a variety of lifestyles, ranging from compact flats to spacious family homes. The design focuses on liveable, logically organised homes, complemented by amenities that enhance everyday comfort. Geothermal heating and cooling, smart home systems and energy-efficient solutions ensure sustainable, forward-looking operation.
