ENSI is set to play a key role in a new automotive investment in Kecskemét
ENSI Kft. is set to play a role in the implementation of another major industrial investment. The company has been awarded the contract for the building services and sprinkler installation works for the expansion of the ZF Foxconn Chassis Modules factory in Kecskemét – the company reported on its social media page.
According to the announcement, work is due to begin at the end of June. The aim of the development is to provide state-of-the-art infrastructure for the manufacture of automotive components and for assembly operations. As part of the project, in addition to installing the building services systems, ENSI will also be responsible for the installation of the fire sprinkler system.
The Kecskemét development fits well into the company’s portfolio
ZF Foxconn Chassis Modules is a joint venture between the German ZF Group and the Taiwanese company Foxconn, which provides axle, suspension and chassis module assembly and logistics services to the international automotive industry; its production facilities supply car manufacturers directly. Its Hungarian subsidiary has a presence in Debrecen and Kecskemét, where it carries out manufacturing and assembly activities for automotive industry players.
The development project now getting underway in Kecskemét fits in well with the ongoing trend of capacity expansion in the domestic automotive industry. For ENSI, it represents a further opportunity to contribute to the implementation of a large-scale industrial investment through the provision of complex building services and fire protection systems.
The ENSI website states that their strength lies in the mechanical engineering of industrial and logistics facilities, office buildings and other specialist structures with a floor area of more than 20,000 m2.
