The first tenants have arrived at BEM Center

The BEM Centert, the new premium office building on the domestic real estate market, has been handed over. The first tenants have already moved into the modern, 21st-century offices, including the investor and developer Market Asset Management Zrt. – as announced on social media page Market Építő Zrt. 

The Bem Square complex, completed at the end of 2023, is home to Hungary's first five-star luxury lifestyle Kimpton Hotel & Restaurant. The former Radetzky barracks were rebuilt while retaining the façade of the 19th-century building. Our newspaper regularly reported on the work here.

Adapting to the green vision

The modern building complex has been designed with several aspects in mind.

The aim was to achieve the Gold level of the LEED building certification system, which also assesses energy efficiency and environmentally friendly solutions. A significant part of the energy used by the building is provided by solar panels and heat pumps.

In addition to energy efficiency and eco-sustainability, it was also important to ensure that tenants and employees alike spent their time in a pleasant environment. Services and shops on the ground floor, centrally controlled humidification and fresh air levels that exceed the standard, as well as a sophisticated lobby, all support this.
