The ÉVOSZ Media Department’s marketing communications conference will take place on 16 April this year, welcoming representatives from the construction industry.

In the construction industry, it is no longer just the quality of projects that counts; the image companies project is also becoming increasingly important. These days, success in the construction industry does not go to those who build the best – but to those whom the market perceives as the best.

This issue forms the basis of the ÉVOSZ Media Department’s annual marketing communications conference, which will welcome industry representatives on 16 April at the Greenfield Hotel in Bükfürdő.

This is how brands and trust are built in the construction industry today

The aim of the conference is to create a shared forum for discussion among managers and marketing and communications professionals in the construction industry; it will also demonstrate how communication can become a systematic tool that makes business sense and helps to strengthen the next generation of talent.

„We have observed recently that, whilst projects are underway, the industry’s communications often take a back seat. Yet trust, visibility and professional credibility no longer develop automatically – they must be consciously built up”

– said Péter Kincses, chair of the ÉVOSZ Media Department and the conference’s main organiser. He added that one of the event’s most important aims was to demonstrate that marketing communication is not a supplementary activity, but a fundamental tool of business operations.

„What you don’t communicate doesn’t exist. These days, the question isn’t whether you have a good project, but whether the market can see it, understand it and connect with it”
– he emphasised.

We can gain an insight into the industry’s successes through new approaches and from a management perspective

The conference programme explores the topic of marketing and communication in the construction industry from a variety of angles.

  • Following the opening ceremony Dániel Fodor The lecture by (Office of the Year Kft.) will kick off the professional programme, followed by Péter Kálmán, CEO of Óbuda Group, discusses what a CEO expects from marketing today and in the future, with particular regard to rebranding and strategic thinking.
  • After that Csaba Livják In his presentation (Buildext), he examines the dilemma between company-building and brand-building: which of the two is actually capable of attracting people and work to a company.
  • Balázs Lengyel (Spányi Partners) discusses the role of managerial communication, and when and how a company director’s personal statements become a deliberate tool.
  • After the coffee break Zoltán Kalmár (Proptech.hu) and Anita Bogár Next up are the presentations by (Brand Network Business), which will provide further practical and strategic insights into establishing a presence in the industry.
