With the TiszaSzolg 2004 Közszolgáltató, Vagyonkezelő és Gazdaságfejlesztő Kft. order, the Randers-Hungária Kft. can convert an existing large car park into one covered by a solar panel roof. According to the contract, the car park’s facilities will also be expanded to include electric vehicle charging points.

Energy production is set to increase fivefold

As part of the refurbishment of the public car park on Teleki Blanka Road in Tiszaújváros, the contractor is required to install a cantilevered, free-standing solar panel roof system extending over the parking bays.

As part of the development project, which covers a total road surface area of 2,370 m2, the company awarded the contract must also provide for rainwater drainage, the construction of a service building, and the manufacture and installation of 18 tonnes of steel structures.

There is currently a small 50 kW solar power plant on the site, and the contractor is required to expand its capacity to 250 kW. This will also involve replacing the mounting structures and cabling.
