Demolition of the interior buildings, the office building closely located between the palaces and the already demolished studio building and garage in the Campus block will continue in the first week of October.
In preparation for the mechanical demolition of the buildings, the dismantling of the built-in equipment and air conditioning systems that served the previous operation is underway, and the internal demolition of the buildings and the selection of demolition materials is ongoing. At the same time, the unloading and removal of furniture and other rubbish left behind in the buildings and no longer usable is also taking place, they said.
Aiming for low noise
The demolition of the reinforced concrete structure of the bunker is also underway, using the lowest possible noise and vibration demolition technology.
It is of paramount importance for the investor to preserve the values found in the facility, so already in the preparatory phase before the demolition, with the direct involvement of various social organisations and museums, it has registered the valuable objects that are now being manually dismantled and handed over to the recipient organisations designated in the inventory of values, the Ministry said.
