This year, the Construction Communication Professionals' Conference is targeting the young generations
Following last year's successful event, this year will see the return of the Construction Industry Marketing Communications Conference, which aims to discuss relevant professional issues and recruitment challenges facing those working in the construction industry. For the second time, with the intention of establishing a tradition, the event will be held on 20 March at the Greenfield Hotel in Bükfürdő, a venue familiar to last year's participants.
Achievement recognised by the profession
At the 2024 conference, the organisers announced that the Media Section would establish the Construction Industry Marketing Communication Awards, which will be presented at the end of 2024 at the ÉVOSZ ceremonial general meeting . Together with the Construction Industry Quality Awards and numerous other awards recognising personal or organisational achievements in the profession, these awards honour projects and campaigns that have played a prominent role in improving the industry's public image.
We received a lot of positive feedback about last year's conference.
How to address Generation Z and Alpha?
This year, the conference has a thematic focus in addition to discussing current issues in the sector: participants will discuss the challenges of marketing communication in the construction industry and how to effectively address the young generations, especially Generation Z and Alpha.
Peter Kincses, President of the Media Section of ÉVOSZ and the main organiser of the event said:
"Generation Z is a must - especially for our sector, the construction industry. The links between generations must not miss a single link. If we do not understand and address Generation Z, we are not only losing our present, but also the bridge to the future through which Generation Alpha will enter the world of work - and the construction industry."
The choice of theme is not a coincidence: the construction industry is facing a growing labour shortage, so attracting young people into the profession has become as crucial as retaining them, he said. He added that the use of new communication tools and strategies, which will be presented at the conference by industry experts, communication specialists and company managers, is essential for this purpose."Let's meet in Bükfürdő on 20 March and build the future of the construction industry together!" - concluded Péter Kincses.
The detailed programme will soon be available on the official channels of the ÉVOSZ Media Department, and the registration form can be accessed by clicking here. The main sponsor of the event will be magyarepitok.hu again this year.
Participation in the event is free of charge, but advance registration is required due to high interest. Places are limited to a total of 40 people, so register early to ensure you don't miss out on this unique professional opportunity.
