China's Zoomlion to set up construction machinery factory in Transdanubia with a giant investment

The Chinese construction and agricultural machinery manufacturer Zoomlion is bringing a world-class investment to Tatabánya, where it is investing €100 million to build a lifting scaffolding factory (in HUF, this is about €42 billion, according to state information - ed.) The huge investment was announced by Levente Magyar, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, in Budapest on Friday.

It was said that the company, which has a turnover of over two thousand billion forints, will bring one of the biggest investments of the year to the city. Zoomlion The company already has roots in Europe's most developed cities, with two investments in Germany and Italy.

Csunjin Chan, Chairman of Zoomlion at the event, presented, among other things: 

An environmentally friendly production base will be developed, which is expected to create 800 new jobs and establish close cooperation with local suppliers. Production is expected to start as early as 2025.

Construction and agricultural machinery will be produced at CTPark

On 20 February, the Chinese machinery manufacturing giant signed an agreement with Dutch-owned CTP agreement with CTP, according to which the 35,000 square metre TBN5 building in Tatabánya, located near the M1 motorway, will be converted in line with Zoomlion's production. In addition, the Chinese company will also use outdoor areas and newly built service facilities, and a testing zone of approximately 20,000 square metres will also be at their disposal.
