A new co-CEO has joined KÉSZ Csoporth

István Sokorai will take up the position of co-chief executive at KÉSZ Holding Zrt. from 1 September. The new member of the board of directors is a recognised professional with more than 30 years’ experience. According to the company’s statement, the construction and property development manager will, as a member of the board of directors of KÉSZ Holding Zrt., hold the positions of Commercial and Technical Chief Executive Officer of the company, as well as Chief Executive Officer of the group’s general contracting company, KÉSZ Építő Zrt.. At group level, he also oversees the business and technical areas relating to the core construction and engineering activities.

Operational management tasks are carried out on a shared basis 

István Sokorai will henceforth share the operational management of KÉSZ Holding Zrt. and the group with Tamás Vida, Chief Executive Officer for Finance and Group Management. In addition to finance, group-level management and services, Tamás Vida oversees the energy and other investment portfolios.

Extensive experience in corporate management and regional professional insight

During his career, he worked as a development director at TriGranit Zrt., before going on to manage Arcadom Zrt. He then served as chairman and chief executive of the French-owned Colas Hungária Zrt. for ten years, until 2020. During the final three years of this period, he was also entrusted with the management of the group’s subsidiaries in Croatia, Slovenia and Romania.
In March 2020, he joined the Bayer Construct group as a co-owner, where he oversaw the operations of Bayer Property Zrt.. After just two years, in 2022, he left the group. He also has independent business interests and his own companies, such as the family-owned SKR HOLDING Kft. and Academy Invest Kft., in which he is a co-owner and managing director alongside his sister.
