New supermarket to serve Hajdúböszörmény and its surroundings

The new SPAR supermarket, completed with an investment of more than HUF 100 million, opened its doors to customers in Hajdúböszörmény on 21 March. The development at Baltazár Dezső utca 8-16 has created employment opportunities for 20 people, the company said in a statement.

The company took over a facility that was previously a grocery store, which it modernised with an own investment of more than HUF 100 million. The previous layout of the building's interior of around 950 square metres has remained unchanged.

More SPARs to open in the near future

"Our business development plans will not stop in 2024, we will continue to open new stores. Today we are very pleased to open our newest development in one of the most populous settlements of Hajdú-Bihar county and its surroundings" - said Mark Maczelka, Communications Manager of SPAR Magyarország.

Next to the entrance of the store, you'll find the green snack section, followed by the deli counters and bakery products. The other half of the store houses the dairy cooler, the wine world and the myrrh department.
