The Fejér-B.Á.L. Zrt. and the Épkar Zrt. are already in the park in the new internal medicine block of St George's Hospital.

The consortium of Fejér-B.Á.L. Zrt. and Épkar Zrt. consortium is responsible for the construction of the new wing of the Szent György University Teaching Hospital in Fejér County. We are continuously monitoring the construction of the complex, which covers a total area of more than 6,100 square metres and is now in the final stages of work on both its exterior and interior.

Before the finishing touches

"The main electrical distribution works of building "L" have been completed, the building is electrified and the level-by-level measurements of the electrical equipment are underway. At the same time, preparations for the mechanical commissioning have been made. In addition, the paved ramp of the ambulance entrance has been completed, together with the rainwater drainage", Szabolcs Cser, project manager of FEJÉR-B.Á.L. Zrt., told our newspaper.

As we learned from the project manager: the rough cleaning of the interior spaces has begun, and on the exterior façade of the steel canopy, the tin work and the construction of the upper and lower cladding have started. Road works are underway, with storm water drainage already completed and bedding currently under construction. The temporary bedding that has been brought in from the park area for the construction of the parade ground will be removed and removed in the next few days, while the park pavements will be constructed by the consortium.

The sections of the connecting corridor between the "Hotel" and "DT" buildings, as well as between the "C" and "DT" buildings, are completed, and the external scaffolding should be completed by the beginning of September.

The renovation of the connecting corridor will continue with the renovation of the section between buildings "C" and "DT", while ensuring continuous patient flow. After the final electrical measurements have been taken, the mechanical and automatic commissioning and adjustments will start from the beginning of September," said Szabolcs Cser. After the rough tidying up of the toilets, the installation of bumpers and handrails in the inner corridors can start, while outside the road and park construction will continue with the construction of pavements and roadway structures. Once these are in place, the final appearance of the building will be completed with the finishing touches of the lower façade cladding, the completion of the canopy tin roofing, and the construction of the façade of the ambulance entrance columns and beam. After the road and pavement construction, the planting, fencing and grassing will complete the construction part of the project.
