Market will build a new logistics centre for the metropolitan agglomeration near the M0-M5 junction

HAVI Logistics Kft. is responding to the growing demands of its customers by establishing a new, state-of-the-art distribution centre, the foundation stone for which was laid on 15 November in Alsónémedi. The logistics company approached Market Asset Management Zrt. with a request for a development with multiple temperature zones, and the construction work will be carried out by the parent company Market Építő Zrt. will carry out the construction work, according to information provided to our newspaper. Market Asset Management is also responsible for identifying and exploiting tender opportunities that support modern implementation.

Since 1991, HAVI Logistics Kft. has been providing complex food logistics services to customers in the fast food and convenience retail sectors. In 2024, the company decided to build a new distribution centre using state-of-the-art technologies, which will also pave the way for the expansion of its customer base in the coming period.

The building, with a floor area of almost 18,000 square meters, includes dry and temperature-controlled rooms as well as rooms for storing chilled and frozen products, thus meeting the highest food safety standards.

The logistics company's distribution centre in Alsónémed is being built in line with the latest EU directives, and the site also ensures easy access to the M0 and M5 roads.

Improve supply chain efficiency

The expansion of our capacities will help our customers to achieve their growth targets and will also allow us to improve the efficiency of our supply chain by expanding our service portfolio and broadening our customer base. We also aim to further improve the working conditions of our colleagues and to develop a sustainable logistics system based on reducing energy consumption and therefore emissions".

He said that this is the company's first investment in which the EU taxonomy is applied at every stage. "This will create a BREEAM Very Good certified facility that will meet HAVI's sustainability objectives: the heat generated by the refrigerators will be used for heating, and we will create a large bee-keeping area near the warehouse complex and plant more than 200 trees", the CEO concluded.

The new logistics centre, which will play a key role in the region, is scheduled to start operations in the first quarter of 2026.
