Renovated school building inaugurated in the metropolitan agglomeration
The Páduai Szent Antal Páduai Elementary School, Secondary School and Elementary Art School in Piliscsaba has been completed, the institution belonging to the Diocese of Székesfehérvár was inaugurated in the morning. The development was carried out in two parts.
As Berthóty László Gergely, the school director said:
The total amount of the renovation is 190 million HUF, with 131 million HUF spent on renovating the roof of the art school and a new gate to make it safer for children to enter the school. The schoolyard was renovated for 62 million forints, so that the pupils don't play in a sea of mud and dust and have more opportunities for sports.
According to public procurement data , the Komárom-Esztergom county-based company SzabóPintér Bau Kft. undertook the construction of the art school (music school) and the gate based on the plans of Kvadrum Építész Kft.. The institution was expanded by replacing the roof of the previously used building and converting the attic.
The renewed building and the schoolyard were blessed by Antal Spányi, Bishop of the diocese that runs the school. He said, among other things, that the Piliscsaba school is an important member of the school system maintained by the diocese, and that the institution has earned respect and recognition for its long-standing work and achievements.
Implemented with broad collaboration
The Bishop said it was gratifying that the renewal of the school was the result of a broad collaboration, since the diocese does not have the financial resources to modernise all the members of the school system it maintains.
The renovation was supported by the Prime Minister's Office, the Ministry of Finance, the Diocese of Székesfehérvár, the Hajnalcsillag Foundation, which manages parental donations, and the Municipality of Piliscsaba.
