Hungary's second automatic hot-dip galvanising plant built
Nagév's new hot-dip galvanizing plant has been completed: the HUF 7.5 billion investment has been awarded HUF 1.5 billion in Hungarian funding under the Large Business Investment Support (NBT) programme. At the inauguration ceremony in Tiszacsege on 5 May, Josán Antal Nagy, owner of Nagév Kft. said that they have had a hot-dip galvanizing plant in Tiszacsege for 30 years, and that the new plant, which is robotically operated and uses the latest environmental technology, was built on the old site.

- he added. He also pointed out that the new plant can produce 30 percent more product than the old one.
Richárd Szabados, Minister of State of the Ministry of National Economy, said in his speech that in the past ten years more than 250 companies have received support under the NBT programme, creating more than four thousand new jobs and generating hundreds of billions of forints in turnover.
Last year, Nagév Kft. had 76 employees and net sales of HUF 2.865 billion in 2023, up from HUF 2.642 billion a year earlier. Last year, they made a profit after tax of 642.8 million forints, compared to 661.4 million forints a year earlier.
