Pest county municipality develops with road renovation and new drainage

The renovation of Tölgyfa Street is an important part of the local infrastructure development in Monorierdő, located in Pest County. On the section of the aforementioned transport corridor between Nefelejcs and Fenyő Streets, not only will the road surface be renewed, but HE-DO will also improve the efficiency of rainwater drainage in the area and level the public utilities, according to the contractor.

Strengthening the road base

During the works, the specialists will renew the bituminous pavement, reinforce the road base and build a rolled asphalt pavement. An important part of the works will also involve the levelling of existing utility manholes and manhole covers. In addition, a double-sided embankment will be constructed and the existing drainage ditches will be renovated and new earthen ditches will be built to drain rainwater.

The project will be implemented with minimal waste generation

Construction work is expected to be completed in September 2025. A special feature of the project is that the construction material already produced, such as mart asphalt, will be recycled to provide environmentally friendly solutions.
The transport and infrastructure development will be financed by the Operational Programme for Territorial and
Urban Development Plus programme.
