Parking spaces are added to the Makó city centre

A project has recently been launched on Tömörkény Street in Makó, which will make the centre of the town in Csongrád-Csanád County more easily accessible , according to a report by delmagyar.hu . The Makó TV report also mentions that, following the construction of a new car park next to the heating plant last year, also in the vicinity of the street, the entire right side of the street will be transformed during the construction work that has now begun.

Municipal Councillor Gábor Czirbus said: the work will include repairing the grass-grid parking lots, replacing broken bricks and renewing the vegetation, even planting new saplings to replace dead trees. He added that there will be more space for cars because, until now, parking was mostly parallel to the road, but now, where possible, herringbone parking will be provided.
