Nearly five hundred flats are being built near Duna Plaza on Váci út.
The WING Group has signed an agreement with GTC to purchase a development site covering more than 2.1 hectares at 173–177 Váci út.
According to the property developer's announcement, approximately 470 modern flats and a 23,000-square-metre modern office building are planned to be built on the site owned by WING as part of a mixed-use project.
The development site covered by the agreement is located in the northern part of the block bounded by Váci Road, Szekszárdi Street, Madarász Viktor Street and Szobor Street. The residential development, which is expected to start in 2026 and is planned in two phases, has a final concept plan and building permit, as well as a town planning agreement with the district council.
It is within walking distance of the Danube riverbank and several shopping centres.
In the new development, the company undertakes to provide high-quality community spaces and green areas for local residents and those working in the area. The announcement emphasises that it has direct metro connections and good transport and service facilities. The site is within walking distance of the Danube riverbank and several shopping centres, making it an attractive location for both employees and residents.
It is worth noting that the Váci út office corridor is Hungary's largest office market area, and WING has been a key player in its redevelopment for 25 years, having completed projects such as the Átrium Park office building and the Kassák residential project.
