The renovation of the iconic office building in Buda has brought about spectacular changes.

As a result of technical improvements, the office building's energy efficiency rating has moved into a more favourable category.

The first phase of the comprehensive modernisation of the Alkotás Point office building located at the intersection of Alkotás Street and Csörsz Street has been completed. According to a statement by Gránit Alapkezelő, the building, which is part of the Gránit Alapkezelő Tower Real Estate Fund's portfolio, has been operating with an occupancy rate of over 90 per cent since its inception in the centre of the 12th district. It currently provides a modern working environment for 22 tenants and approximately 1,500 employees.

As they write, the renovation, which began in the first half of 2025, focused primarily on technical modernisation:

  • the boiler and circulation pumps were replaced,
  • The car park has been fitted with LED lighting.,
  • In addition, the Parkl intelligent parking system was installed, enabling the management of parking spaces and optimising their utilisation.

Work began in the third quarter, bringing spectacular changes for tenants:

  • the lobby has been completely renovated,
  • modern LED lighting was installed in the common areas,
  • the washrooms have been refurbished,
  • the building's outdated liquid cooling system was replaced with a modern, high-performance system,
  • The café has been renovated and expanded, and a new restaurant has opened in the building.

The building has not only advanced technically

As a result of the technical improvements, the office building's energy efficiency rating has moved into a more favourable category. According to the announcement, the renovation of the Alkotás Point office building will continue in further phases. The implementation of the improvements is being coordinated by the Grandum Property Management project team.
