Not an easy year for the leading Hungarian construction company in the Eastern region

The Korona Hotel's ballroom in Nyíregyháza hosted the „KE-VÍZ 21” Zrt. end-of-year dinner. According to the report sent to our newspaper, at the event held in the grand hall, Deputy CEO Antal Bencze Jr. welcomed the company's employees and invited guests.

The head of the company, which has more than three decades of history, reported on the most important events and achievements of the year just ended, and then on the outlook for the coming year. Afterwards, the best employees of the company's various departments were presented with their awards.

Two major projects were completed in September

There was much to look back on at the end-of-year event, as the company, which plays a key role in civil engineering, building construction, and road and bridge construction, delivered numerous developments in 2023. In February, we reported on Debrecen's large-scale transport development project, in which Debreceni Mélyépítő Kft., "KE-VÍZ 21" Zrt. and ZEMPLÉNKŐ Kft. renovated and expanded Kishegyesi Road. In May, the company also completed a successful project in Debrecen: completion of phase III of the Nyugati kiskörút project, which included the construction of more than 10 kilometres of cycle paths. Cycling infrastructure was also built in a project completed a month later, when the section of the Tokaj cycle route between Tarcal and Tokaj by the consortium of "Ke-Víz 21", Zrt. and Zemplénkő Kft..

One of the most significant projects of the year was completed in September: the new depot for the bus fleet serving local transport in Szabolcs County was completed. A complex was built under the general construction contract "KE-VÍZ 21" Zrt., which fully meets today's needs and is also capable of serving future developments in a timely manner. The renovation of Nyíregyháza's important transport hub was also completed in September: at the intersection of Tiszavasvári út and Derkovits utca new junction was created thanks to the company's work.

One prestigious award this year

The last project to be completed this year was one of historic significance: the Nyíregyháza ring road is now fully four lanes wide. The last section, built as part of projects „KE-VÍZ 21” Zrt. and Zemplénkő Kft., was handed over on 12 December.

The company's high level of professional work this year was reflected not only in its successful investments, but also in a prestigious award: In February this year, representatives of the company received the Nyíregyháza City Quality Award in recognition of several decades of outstanding work.
