Rail links to the Iváncza industrial park to be upgraded
The Építési és Közlekedési Minisztérium was published in the EU Public Procurement Bulletin the results of the procedure for the provision of engineering services related to the planning and implementation of the development of the railway infrastructure of the Iváncsa Industrial Park.
The work, worth a net value of HUF 389 million, can be carried out by UTIBER Kft. and FER-MAN Kft..
The battery factory in Iváncsa, Fejér County, was built by Market Építő Zrt.. The civil engineering works were carried out by the German-backed BAUER Magyarország Speciális Mélyépítő Kft., and the French-backed HBM Soletanche Bachy.
As we previously reported, the project is part of a programme aimed at supporting the development of rural industrial infrastructure.
The work will involve the construction of 5052 metres of new greenfield open line track, 1053 metres of new station track, and the reconstruction and upgrading of 1087 metres of track. In thestation area, 3 groups of sidings will be demolished, 1 group of sidings will be relocated and 6 groups of new sidings will be built. On the towing track, 3 groups of new sidings will be installed.
The project will build a huge loading area
Also:
- A 20,000 square metre basalt concrete loading area is built;
- installing lighting and energy supply;
- the overhead network at Adony station will be upgraded;
- modify and extend the safety equipment on the station and open line sections;
- noise protection is built in;
- carry out the necessary utility replacements.
The project will include the construction of 4 new structures, 3 precast reinforced concrete frames and 3 level crossings, as well as a review of the technical condition of the 2 existing reinforced concrete frame bridges at Adony railway station and the necessary interventions. In the loading area, office and social facilities will be provided for the railway company.
