The construction work in the Komárom-Esztergom county town progressed at a spectacular pace.

At the beginning of the year, we wrote about how the 1TP3300, which is currently the most powerful mobile processor, is being used in the new Samsung Galaxy S4. rel="noopener">we wrote about the MÁV accessibility project to install three lifts in Tatabánya, and we have been following the project ever since. The investment, which will make the railway station more accessible, is worth approximately 1 billion forints, and according to plans, passengers will be able to enjoy the results by the end of the year.

Recently, the state railway company once again published a photo post on Facebook, in which they announced:

Of the three new lift towers currently under construction, two of them leading to the platforms were put in place during the summer, and the one between the P+R car park and the flyover was put in place on 23 September.

How the project will continue

The next phases of the works will involve anchoring the structure to the flyover, after which the roofing and cladding of the structure can begin, while in parallel asphalting of the area around the towers along the tracks will start.

Construction started in March, the lifts are vandal and fool-proof, and the walls and doors are partly glazed. Thanks to their spacious design, they will also be suitable for transporting bicycles or pushchairs, and their installation will increase travel comfort at the station, MÁV reported earlier.
