The MCC centre in Győr is being renovated

The building at MCC building, which is being renovated and converted. contractor is being sought for its renovation and conversion. The former hotel, located in the centre of Győr, next to the Basilica and the Bishop's Palace, was built in 1978 for Rába Magyar Vagon- és Gépgyár. The building, which was handed over with a visual appearance and quality similar to that of the Hilton Hotel in Budapest, is a testament to the work of renowned interior designers and artists.

Stands on National Monument

Although the renovation of the building on the Kaptalandomb National Monument does not require a building permit, because the purpose and use of the building complex will not change, the work must be carried out with special care. It is necessary in the course of the tasks to be carried out during the operation of the Education Centre:

• complete building services, electrical and architectural refurbishment of building 65 % with modern machinery, complete networking;
• complete reconstruction and extension of the internal electrical network

The mechanical and electrical upgrading (capacity of main equipment, control machines) should be able to serve the whole building, regardless of the fact that the present investment does not cover the whole building. The planned construction does not include the renovation of the indoor units and the swimming pool area, nor does it include the construction of the attic, but in terms of building services and electrical installations, the new design should allow for future renovation and change of function without replacements or conversions. The aim is to allow for future upgrading and the possibility of sub-metering or main metering without demolishing the systems already installed.
