The HUF 15 billion project will receive HUF 6.6 billion in state support, helping to create a hundred new jobs, announced Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade at Monday's event.

He said that the investment will significantly contribute to the further strengthening of the construction industry, which is one of the main backbones of the Hungarian economy, providing jobs for nearly 400,000 people and with a production value of HUF 7,400 billion last year.

Several domestic companies have become regional leaders

Szijjártó added that as a result of the economic development strategy of the past fourteen years based on the national interest, several domestic companies have now become regional leaders in various key industries. He said that investment plays a critical role in the performance of the Hungarian economy, and therefore the government has no other goal than to make Hungary the most attractive investment environment in Europe. To this end, the government regularly concludes strategic cooperation agreements with companies that contribute to the growth of the economy not only through their investments but also through their activities beyond.
