Four-star hotel to be built in the capital of Zemplén

The accommodation options in the capital of Zemplén may expand, as construction of a new four-star hotel may begin on Várhegy, one of the town's main tourist attractions. An announcement has been published in the EU public procurement bulletin, in which the client, Várhegy Üdülő Kft., is awaiting bids for the construction work.

The hotel will offer a salt room and a hot tub

Under the project, the company with the best bid will have to build a 2,650 square metre hotel building with 50 rooms, including 4 suites. The four-star hotel will also include a spa area with saunas, a swimming pool, a jacuzzi and a salt room. A sky terrace on the top floor will crown the guest experience.

The tripartite building is crowned by a roof terrace

Above the basement and ground floor of the reinforced concrete frame building, there will be 3 additional floors, as well as the aforementioned roof terrace with views of the surrounding area. The contractor will have to design the hotel in three parts: the rooms on two sides and the service units in the part of the building between them. The latter will house the reception, the lobby, the breakfast area and the wellness and related services.
