Nyírbátor is to get a new sports hall

The Sárkány Arena, the new home of Nyírbátor’s top-flight futsal club, may be built on a plot of land that is secluded yet situated in the town centre.

As we previously reported, the Hungarian Football Association following the launch of the Debrecen futsal project, the Hungarian Football Association has also issued a public tender for the construction of a futsal hall in the small town in the Nyírség region.

The construction of the futsal hall, to be built based on the Archikon plans, has now reached a new stage: the public procurement tender has been announced, on the basis of which the contractor will be selected. Construction of the Sárkány Arena is therefore set to begin shortly.

 

 

It is situated on a plot in the city centre, yet tucked away

Applications are being accepted until 21 September for the project, which is scheduled to last 620 days and involves the construction of the town’s new sports hall on a site owned by Nyírbátor Local Authority, situated within the inner area of the town centre block.

The planned hall will comprise a ground floor and two upper storeys, with a usable floor area of approximately 3,250 m2. The hall section will feature a steel-framed structure with a span of 32.78 metres; whilst the remaining sections will be constructed with a reinforced concrete column frame, a monolithic reinforced concrete floor structure, and load-bearing and bracing masonry.

 

 

The top-flight club is being given facilities worthy of its achievements

Approximately 1,490 m2 of sports parquet flooring will be laid in the hall area as part of the project, where the successful contractor will be responsible for carrying out the necessary external utility, road and landscaping works for the building, as well as for obtaining the final occupation permit.

The works include the installation of the building’s comprehensive building services and electrical systems, in particular the heating, cooling and ventilation systems, as well as the high-voltage and low-voltage electrical networks.
