Off to Lake Balaton – Contech for the third time!

On Tuesday, 13 October, the CONTECH 2026 Conference will once again welcome participants from the construction industry to Balatonfüred. The event, organised with media support from magyarepitok.hu, will once again be held at the Anna Grand Hotel; this year’s programme will again take place simultaneously at several venues.

The Balatonfüred Construction Industry Summit was first incorporated into the Infotér Conference in 2024, with the express aim of comprehensively addressing the fields of construction, strategy, innovation and digitalisation, thereby filling a gap in the market.

They’re bringing back the most successful elements from previous years again this year

Following the successful conferences held last year and the year before, CONTECH is being organised for the third time this year: According to its website, the event will focus on BIM, AI and industry innovation – not in theory, but in practice. They emphasise that the most successful elements from previous years – the stand-up presentations, the drop-in sessions and the funding opportunities – will be back this year, supplemented by a few new programme items.

„We are not giving a theoretical introduction to BIM, artificial intelligence and digital solutions; instead, we will show how these are integrated into day-to-day work processes – through specific projects, achievements and competitive operations,” reads the organisers’ summary.

The technical programme for the CONTECH 2026 Conference is just the beginning

At this year’s conference, the Építőipari Női Kiválóság Díjat and Építőipari Fiatal Kiválóság Díjat awards will once again be presented to professionals who have played a prominent role in the sector’s digital, innovative and sustainable transformation.

The aim of the awards is to draw national attention to leading female professionals and talented individuals under the age of 35 who are shaping the future of the sector from a professional, economic and technological perspective.

They add that, following the professional programme, the evening will continue at the Anna Grand Hotel in Balatonfüred, where conference participants will have the opportunity to sample some excellent Hungarian wines during an informal wine-tasting session. „It’s well worth staying on, as the most valuable business discussions and collaborations often arise during these informal evening events,” they point out, highlighting the networking opportunities.
