The newest development in Budapest's VIII district is now ready for construction. Univery is adding 112 youthfully designed apartments to a sought-after part of the capital.

The Univery, which enriches the buildings of Józsefváros with a clean yet dynamic design, has reached its highest point. One of the newest residential buildings, AVICO Group, was ceremonially awarded the bokreta marking its structural readiness. The energy-efficient building, located in a neighbourhood of prestigious universities, was designed with the needs of young people in mind. It is expected to be inaugurated in the first quarter of 2025. A sample building has already been completed.

The Univery project, which will soon add a total of 112 modern apartments to the residential property market in the capital's most prominent and rehabilitated part of the VIII district. Thanks to its location, Semmelweis University (SOTE), Óbuda University, Pázmány Péter Catholic University and the National University of Public Service are all within walking distance. The building, which is being developed close to the main public transport points, is easily accessible by metro lines 3 and 4, as well as by several tram lines.

Functionality and comfort

The design of the six-storey Univery, based on the Casiopea Group's construction plans, is in line with the modern urban lifestyle, where functionality, comfort and aesthetics are equally important. Its façade features a harmonious alternation of brick and white surfaces, giving the building a dynamic appearance.

The majority of apartments have balconies and the wide, multi-paned windows let in plenty of natural light, adding to the light and spaciousness of the interiors. The environmentally friendly building, with an A+ energy efficiency rating, has already been optimised for sustainable operation, and is accordingly equipped with renewable energy sources. The 3 lift apartment building also offers a variety of sizes and layouts of apartments with 1-3 bedrooms, to enable the developer to cater for all the customer needs that may arise. The building will also have a 0-24 reception service.

An attractive environment for those looking for property

"The redeveloped areas of District VIII continue to develop at a tremendous pace, so there is still a huge demand for apartments in the area, both for owner-occupation and for investment purposes. The proximity of the universities, Rákóczi Square and Orczy Garden, one of the largest green areas in the city centre, make the development particularly attractive for both young people and investment buyers, so we have tried to meet the expectations and tastes of the new generations in terms of style and layout", emphasised Ákos Rónai, Sales Manager of AVICO Group.

This is not the first development of AVICO Group in the district: not far from the project is the 426-apartment Cyprus House complex, inaugurated in 2009, also designed by Casiopea Group. The company's domestic developments started in 2004 and since then its portfolio has grown to nearly 4,000 apartments. AVICO Group is also involved in a number of other residential developments in Budapest, including in the XVIII, IX, XI and XIII districts, where sales of its GreenTop and BlueSide projects have recently started.
