It will be much faster to get from the Bakony to Lake Balaton

The new route connecting roads 8 and 82 will significantly shorten the travel time between Lake Balaton and the Bakony Hills. The planning work for this project was announced in a recent announcement. The junction of main roads 8 and 72 on the outskirts of Veszprém, as well as the northern half of main road 82 between Veszprém and Gyulafirátót, is a design task planned for 2.5 years.

• the construction of a new 6.5 km long 2×1 lane continuous main road
• the separate artificial harbour above the railway line 20 and the Séd stream, with a structural length of about 55 metres.

Designers must also prepare

• permit and design plans for the implementation of the correction of military road No 2,
• obtain the necessary permits for construction, and
• prepare the double-clause expropriation plans.
• Design of the complete reconstruction of the structure at km 6+612 of the 82 motorway, if necessary on the basis of the studies, preparation of construction and design plans, obtaining the necessary permits for construction;
• Preparation of the construction plans for the resurfacing of the structure at the junction of the main roads 8 and 72 and the roundabout sub-nodes of the junction;
• Preparation of the construction and design of a new road of approximately 1.5 km between the southern junction of the main roads 8 and 72 and the access road to the airport, as a continuation of road 72112, and obtaining the necessary permits for construction.
