The Mozaik Street flyover maintenance has entered its next phase
The Budapest Közút Zrt. investment project will continue with expansion joint repairs on Monday, 21 July, with maintenance work on the Mozaik Street overpass on Szentendrei Road , according to an announcement by the Budapest Transport Centre (BKK).
The works will inevitably involve traffic changes: according to the preliminary plans, the flyover will allow two lanes of traffic to pass the work area, according to the BKK website.
A temporary bus lane on Szentendrei út between Czetz János köz and Záhony utca will help the affected bus lines 34, 106 and 134 BKK to move faster towards the city centre, as in the first phase of the maintenance works.
In connection with the maintenance of the Mozaik Street flyover, Budapest Közút will carry out the pavement repairs on the temporary bus lane from Kaszásdűlőt to Bogdáni út between the southern end of the flyover and Bogdáni út from 14 to 20 July, when the flyover will be fully open, twice in three lanes.
Maintenance is expected to last until 21 September.
