The HE-DO project will renovate 11,000 square metres of road and build a new Park & Ride car park in Gyöngyös

In Gyöngyös, according to the public procurement notice, the HE-DO can carry out the renovation of several hundred metres of roads in the town of Heves County, as well as construct a new P+R car park at the railway station.

The main quantities of the planned tasks:

• approx. 11,044 m² Renovation of an asphalt-surfaced road (asphalt milling, levelling of manhole covers, laying of a 5 cm thick AC11 asphalt surface)
• 620 m² Removal of asphalt surfacing from an asphalt-surfaced car park, followed by re-asphalting,
• Demolition and reconstruction of a 64-metre-long raised kerb,
• 138 m² Demolition and reconstruction of an asphalt-paved pavement using 10x20x6 cm paving blocks.
• Demolition of 266 metres of recessed kerb, construction of 334 metres of recessed kerb,
• painting road markings on the relevant sections of road.

Next to Gyöngyös railway station, on land owned by MÁV, the successful tenderer may also develop the town’s new Park & Ride car park by extending an area that is currently asphalted. In doing so, HE-DO is responsible for:

• The conversion of 22 parking spaces,
• Construction of 118 metres of raised kerb,
• repair of the existing concrete surface,
• 310 m² Laying of asphalt surfacing.
