Pálmai added: five years have passed since the launch of VET 4.0. The Deputy State Secretary recalled that from 2015 onwards, vocational schools have been renovated and renewed with a total of HUF 400 billion, and renovations worth almost HUF 96 billion are currently underway across the country.

He added that in vocational education and training, in addition to national infrastructure developments, digital developments are ongoing.

Gergely Pálmai pointed out that "in the field of vocational education and training, we are the silver medallist in Europe, the bronze medallist among OECD member states, and the 10th best in the world in the professional competition."

You can't run a successful business without succession planning

Here, young professionals can learn the latest mechanical engineering skills directly from the field, close to everyday industrial operations, so they can learn the skills of the trade not just from textbooks, but in practice, under real conditions. Sabolcs Szabolcs Szabó, Managing Director of Group DS Értéklánc Menedzsment and DS Mol, added: "The newly opened facility is not only a workshop, but also a community space, filled with life, knowledge and experience by students, teachers and Mol colleagues, and this will be the real value.

Zoltán Bán, Head of HR at Mol Hungary, said:

With the workshop, the company has reached a milestone that symbolises how it is worth thinking about the future of industry and education today. He added: "At Mol, we know that you cannot build a meaningful future without the right skills."
