In the service of the economy – The managing director of Weinberg received an award
In keeping with tradition, on 1 December, the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BOKIK) presented awards and recognitions to those officials and entrepreneurs who earned the appreciation of the BOKIK community through their outstanding performance , the company announced on Facebook page.
Among the award winners was István Derczó, Vice President of BOKIK and managing owner of Weinberg’93 Építő Kft..
István Derczó is a household name in the region, as he shows many signs of local patriotism. His family business, one of Hungary's leading general contractors and steel structure manufacturers, has strong ties to his immediate homeland.
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry began operating in Miskolc in 1880. This date, 145 years ago, was commemorated on Monday, Chamber Day. In addition, the following chamber officials and volunteer chamber members received awards:

Shortly before Chamber Day, the leader of Weinberg was also recognised at another event, the TOP100 event, which showcased the most successful companies in the region. According to the report by boon.hu report, the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the county directorate of the National Tax and Customs Administration, and the Észak-Magyarország daily newspaper held the TOP100 event for the nineteenth time, where the TOP100 publication for 2025 was ceremoniously presented and the TOP100 Economic Award was handed out.
