Energy
One of the most important elements of the electrical network is being expanded and renewed in Mosonmagyaróvár
The E.ON Észak-dunántúli Áramhálózati Zrt. would expand the 132/22/11 kV substation in Mosonmagyaróvár, Győr-Moson-Sopron County, according to the EU public procurement register. This reveals that architectural and electrical technology expansion and reconstruction work may take place at the Mosonmagyaróvár substation, with a contract value of almost HUF 1.4 billion, under the STS Engineering & Construction Kft. contract.
The integration of electrical and architectural technology is very high in this project, and only their proper combined operation can guarantee adequate power supply security, so the winning contractor needs to have knowledge of both disciplines on site at the same time.
The task of STS Kft. is to expand the substation.
- by converting the 132 kV busbar into a double busbar,
- by installing a third transformer,
- replacing medium-voltage switchgear,
- and the construction of a new control building.
This is how energy supply is being developed
In addition, certain 132 kV outdoor equipment, equipment support foundations and steel structures will be replaced. According to the plan, the following works will be carried out in stages:
- conversion of two existing 132/22/11 kV transformer fields,
- construction of an existing 132/22/11 kV transformer field,
- conversion of five 132 kV line fields,
- creation of a SÁH (railway bridge) field.
In addition, a new switch and control building will be constructed, along with outdoor equipment.
The task includes, in particular, but not exclusively, the complete architectural construction of the building, which contains industrial-type brick and reinforced concrete elements. This also includes the building's rainwater drainage, building services and electrical systems. The old station must remain in operation during the construction of the new buildings.
The new switch and control building will house the 11 kV and 22 kV indoor metal-clad switchgear, which will ultimately consist of 24+4 (11 kV) and 28+6 (22 kV) cells.
